Sacha is a lawyer with the Department of Justice Canada.  Prior to joining the public service, he conducted and managed litigation in the Federal Government as well as private practice both in Ottawa and in Toronto.  In his current role, he helps craft access to justice policy, drawing upon his particular expertise relating to official language minority communities.  Sacha is a proud francophone member of the Centretown CHC Board of Directors, having been first elected in 2015.  He has gained considerable experience in community governance and leadership notably as a member of the Board of CHEO-OCTC, as a former member of the Board and Chair of Carlington CHC, as well as being an active volunteer with both Entraide budgétaire Ottawa and the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre.  He is a firm believer in health equity and of the concept that good health is much more than a visit to the clinic.  It is something that begins in our homes, schools, workplaces and communities.  These shared values are the source of his passion for Centretown’s work and why he is grateful for the privilege to continue to serve on its Board.
