Our Crisis Response Workers will:
Respond to crisis situations on foot or with a vehicle
Assess an individual's needs
Refer individuals to a post-crisis response worker for follow-up support and care
Connect people to services that address the immediate issue(s)
Alternate Neighbourhood Crisis Response (ANCHOR)
A person in a mental health or substance use crisis needs the right response, at the right time, from the right people, with follow up support.

Call 2-1-1 for free, confidential support that will meet you right where you are.
ANCHOR is a community-led, culturally sensitive, and equity-centered service. Our skilled crisis workers support people experiencing mental health and/or substance-related crises.
Free, confidential, in-person support for Ottawa residents 16+ in the project area.
ANCHOR services are provided through a mobile outreach capacity in the project area;
located on unceded Anishinaabe territory.
