Eligibility for Care: As family physicians, we specialize in low risk obstetrics and are able to care for most patients who are referred to us. Reasons you may be referred to other prenatal care providers (such as Obstetricians or Midwives) include:
Women who know they require a caesarean section before labour starts
Women who are diabetic and taking insulin
Women pregnant with twins or triplets
Women who wish to give birth in a location other than the hospital (ex: at home or birthing center)
**Please note that clients who live in Quebec are not eligible for our services.
